Group Psilocybin Facilitation in Colorado

Group Journey

There is something uniquely powerful about not doing this alone.

Not alone in the sense of having a facilitator present — that's true in every session. But alone in the room with your own inner world, with nobody else having their own experience alongside you.

A group journey changes that. When two to four people enter this work together, something different becomes available. The shared experience creates a kind of field that many people find easier to drop into. Knowing that others in the room are moving through something real — that can make it easier to let go of the self-consciousness that keeps people on the surface of themselves.

Group sessions are not for everyone. But for the right people, they can be among the most powerful experiences this work has to offer.

Who This Is For

Group journeys work well for friends, partners, or small groups of people who trust each other and want to share this experience. They also work for people who don't know each other but are open to the intimacy that this kind of shared experience can create.

If you've been curious about this work but find yourself hesitating, doing it alongside others is sometimes what makes it feel possible. There is something about knowing you're not the only one in the room that lowers the threshold just enough.

Group journeys also make sense if cost is a consideration. The per-person investment is lower than a solo session while the quality of support and preparation remains the same.

Whatever brings you to considering a group format, the question I ask is always the same: does this particular group of people feel like the right container for each person in it? That's something we figure out together before anything is scheduled.

What's Included

Individual Preparation Session — Before we do anything as a group, I meet with each person individually. This is where we get honest about where you are, what you're carrying, what you're hoping for, and whether this path feels right for you right now. It's also where I get to know you, which matters for how I support you during the session itself.

Group Preparation Session — We meet together as a group before the journey. This is where we build trust with each other, establish a shared intention for the experience, and talk through what the day will actually look and feel like. People usually leave this session feeling significantly more settled than when they arrived.

Group Journey Session — The journey itself runs six to eight hours at a licensed healing center or a setting determined together based on what makes most sense for the group. You each self-administer your own medicine. I'm present throughout, tracking each person individually, staying attuned to what's happening in the room, and offering support as needed. The group experience is shared but each person's journey is their own.

Individual Integration Session — About a week after the journey, I meet with each person individually to process what came up, explore how it connects to your life, and think through what ongoing support might look like. Integration is where the experience becomes useful, and it works better one on one.

Why Group

Some people choose a group journey because they want to share the experience with someone they love. Some choose it because they know they'll feel safer with familiar people in the room. Some choose it because they're honestly a little scared and knowing others are doing it alongside them makes it feel more possible.

All of those are good reasons.

What I've seen in group sessions is that the shared experience often accelerates something. People tend to drop in faster, go deeper, and come out of it with a quality of connection to each other that's hard to describe and genuinely rare.

If you're considering this with other people, the best first step is a conversation. Discovery calls are free and there's no pressure in a conversation.
